The Kebbi State Government has relieved all 21 Local Government Education Secretaries (ES) in the state of their appointments.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, announced this in a statement issued to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

According to Bala-Tafida, the decision takes immediate effect. He directed the affected officials to hand over leadership to the Directors of Administration in their respective local government areas.

He acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing education secretaries to the development of the education sector in the state, expressing the government's appreciation for their service.

"While the state government appreciates your contributions, it also wishes you well in your future endeavors. You are expected to report back to your previous offices," Bala-Tafida stated.
