Supporters of the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, have taken to the streets to announce preparation for her homecoming rally.
The development followed a ban on public gatherings and rallies by Kogi Governor Usman Ododo.
The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, had also insisted that the rally violates the State Government’s directive on Monday, which bans political gatherings.
Dantawaye further urged Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan to call off her scheduled Sallah rally in Kogi Central Senatorial District.
However, in a recent images seen online, on Tuesday, April 1, supporters were seen with placards showing solidarity for the suspended lawmaker.
The placards have various inscriptions like: "Welcome home worthy daughter of Ebiraland, the people of Okene are solidly behind you", "The people of Adavi are solidly behind you."
