In the spirit of Eid al-Adha, the Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency has extended warm Sallah greetings and expressed profound gratitude to the people of Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed, and the entire Muslim Ummah.
Commander-General of the agency, Dr. Umar Shayi, conveyed the message of appreciation in a goodwill statement made available to the press. He thanked Allah for granting the people of the state another year of peace, progress, and divine protection.
Dr. Shayi expressed gratitude for the leadership commitment and achievements recorded under Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration and acknowledged the support of citizens in maintaining peace and stability across the state.
He urged the people of Bauchi to uphold the spirit of unity, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence during and beyond the Sallah celebration.
The Vigilante Commander also encouraged Muslims to use the festive season for sober reflection, prayer, and renewed commitment to values that promote community development and harmony.
Dr. Shayi concluded by commending the synergy between conventional and non-conventional security agencies in Bauchi State. He particularly lauded the Nigeria Police Force, Bauchi State Command, for its professionalism and proactive leadership under Commissioner of Police Sani Umar.
“Together, we can continue to strengthen the peace and security of our dear state,” he stated.
