The Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar, has described the late President Muhammadu Buhari as a hero whose sense of patriotism was unmatched in Nigeria’s history. He said Buhari’s death has created a huge void that will be difficult to fill.

In a condolence message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the people and government of Katsina State, and the immediate family of the late president, the royal father further described Buhari as an honest leader with undiluted integrity.

Etsu Nupe also remembered the deceased as an exceptionally humble, God-fearing, and dedicated elder statesman whose love for Nigeria, particularly for the masses, was remarkable.

He described Buhari’s passing as a monumental loss to the nation and praised him as a committed technocrat and patriotic administrator.

The Etsu Nupe prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant President Buhari eternal rest and to give his family, the nation, and the people of Daura the strength to bear the loss.
