Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the deployment of eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the redeployment of four existing ones across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri.

According to the statement, the redeployments are as follows:

1. Sagir Muhammad Sani – from the Ministry of Basic Education to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

2. Muhammad Yusha'u – from the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning to the Ministry for Local Government.

3. Lawan Muhammad Haruna – from the Ministry of Higher Education to the Local Government Service Commission.

4. Engr. Musa Alhassan Arobade – from the Ministry of Power and Energy to the Directorate of Manpower Development and Training under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service.

The newly deployed Permanent Secretaries and their postings are:

1. Garba D. Muhammad – Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology

2. Fatima Aliyu Hadejia – Directorate of Salary and Pension, Office of the Head of the Civil Service

3. Baffa Abubakar – Ministry of Basic Education

4. Bello Datti – Directorate of Special Services/Council Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State

5. Ibrahim Hassan – Ministry of Finance

6. Nasiru Haruna – Ministry of Power and Energy

7. Umar Isah – Civil Service Commission

8. Mahmud Isah Ringim – Ministry of Commerce and Industries

The statement noted that the postings take immediate effect.

Governor Namadi urged all the deployed and redeployed Permanent Secretaries to exhibit a high level of commitment, professionalism, and productivity in their new assignments in order to enhance service delivery and support the administration's development agenda.
