The process was free, fair, and credible, devoid of any form of violence or manipulation, and was fully monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party observers.

At the conclusion of the exercise, Joshua Azumi Bawa emerged as the duly elected ADC candidate for the State House of Assembly, Munya Constituency, after securing overwhelming support from party delegates and members.

The party congratulated Mr. Bawa on his well-deserved victory and commended all aspirants and delegates for their maturity, sportsmanship, and dedication to strengthening democratic principles. The successful conduct of the primary election, according to the statement, stands as a testament to the ADC’s unwavering commitment to transparent leadership selection and credible political representation.

Alhaji Musa Hassan further called on all party members, stakeholders, and coalition partners within Munya Constituency, as well as the general public, to rally behind Mr. Bawa in preparation for the forthcoming bye-election scheduled for 16th August 2025.
