Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has been conferred with the Governor of the Year Award in Peace and Security by Blueprint Newspaper, in recognition of his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to fostering peace and stability in Kaduna State.
The award was received on his behalf by Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, at the 2025 Blueprint Public Lecture, Impact Series, and Awards Ceremony, held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel.
According to Blueprint Newspaper, Governor Sani was selected for the award based on his significant contributions to peacebuilding, security enhancement, and his broader impact on national development. The publication described him as a leader who embodies the spirit of service and resilience in governance.
The ceremony was part of Blueprint’s annual initiative to recognize individuals and institutions that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and service to humanity.
The high-profile event was chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, as well as ministers from the Federal Ministries of Information and National Orientation, Solid Minerals, Agriculture and Food Security, Livestock Development, and Water Resources.
The award highlights Governor Sani’s impactful approach to addressing security challenges and promoting peaceful coexistence across Kaduna State.
