The Niger State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reaffirmed Alhaji Musa Hassan as its duly recognised chairman.
In a statement signed by the State Secretary, Alhaji Baba Giwa, the chapter announced that the decision followed resolutions reached at the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on 29th July 2025 at Chelsea Hotel, Abuja.
According to the statement, the NEC unanimously adopted the interim national leadership of the party under Senator David Mark and ratified the recognition of all existing state chairmen across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“By the resolution reached, Alhaji Musa Hassan remains the authentic and duly recognised Chairman of ADC in Niger State,” the statement read.
The chapter, under Hassan’s leadership, expressed appreciation to its coalition partners in the state for their contributions toward achieving the party’s goal of liberating Nigerians from hunger, unemployment, and insecurity.
It called on well-meaning citizens to join the ADC in its mission to improve the lives of the people and the fortunes of the nation.
The public was also urged to disregard any individual or group claiming to represent the leadership of the ADC in Niger State, stressing that the party remains firmly under Hassan’s leadership.
While acknowledging that minor disputes may arise from time to time, the chapter assured members that such issues would be resolved amicably in the best interest of the party.
The party secretariat is located at 3-Arm Zone, Minna, Niger State.
