Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah has extended his congratulations to Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami on his appointment as the new Emir of Zuru by the Kebbi State Government.
In a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Muhammad Danjarida, the Senator described the appointment as well-deserved and reflective of the collective will of the Zuru Emirate.
He commended the transparent and credible selection process that led to the Emir’s emergence, highlighting the role of the election committee’s recommendation and the subsequent approval by Governor Nasir Idris as evidence of respect for tradition, fairness, and due process.
Senator Na’Allah offered prayers for the success of the new monarch and urged him to lead with wisdom, justice, humility, and the fear of Almighty Allah. He expressed confidence that the Emir would build upon the legacy of his predecessor, the late Major General Muhammad Sani Sami Gomo II, whose passing on August 16, 2025, created the vacancy.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire Zuru community, I extend heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami. May his reign usher in lasting peace, unity, and development for Zuru Emirate, Kebbi State, and Nigeria at large,” the statement concluded.
