The Emir of Minna, His Royal Highness (Dr.) Umaru Faruk Bahago, CON, has conferred the traditional title of Bulaman Minna on the Director-General of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Dr. Amb. Nmaa Ahmed.
The conferment, which took place in Minna, was described by Dr. Ahmed as one of the most humbling moments of his life. In a statement, he expressed deep gratitude to the Emir for the honour, pledging to serve the community with loyalty and dedication.
“I am deeply moved and profoundly grateful for the trust, confidence, and recognition His Royal Highness has shown me. This title is not merely an honour; it is a responsibility I accept with humility and devotion,” Ahmed said.
He also extended appreciation to Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State for his encouragement and support, noting that the governor’s leadership and kindness had been a source of inspiration.
Dr. Ahmed dedicated the honour to his family, acknowledging their sacrifices and unwavering support, while also appreciating friends and well-wishers for their prayers and encouragement.
