Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, Governor Fintiri congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the significant occasion and urged them to reflect on and embody the Prophet’s timeless values of peace, kindness, humility, and selflessness.
“May this celebration bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all. As we reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on tolerance, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence, let us strive to emulate his virtues and work towards a brighter future for our state and nation,” the Governor said.
Fintiri called on citizens to support the “new thinking” of his administration, which he said is focused on improving the lives of the people and transforming the state through inclusive governance and sustainable development.
He also urged the Muslim faithful to use the spiritual significance of the Eid to offer prayers for peace, love, and unity, not only in Adamawa but across the entire nation.
“May Allah guide us towards peace, unity, and prosperity. Happy Eid-el-Maulud!” the statement concluded.
