The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips, on Wednesday, 2nd October 2025, supervised the enforcement of the Tinted Glass Permit regulations within Minna metropolis.
During the exercise, the CP visited Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and their personnel on duty, commending their efforts in ensuring compliance by motorists with tinted vehicle glasses.
CP Elleman expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the enforcement operation and encouraged motorists who are yet to process and obtain the required permits to do so promptly in order to avoid arrest and prosecution.
He emphasized that the enforcement was not aimed at causing hardship but is in the interest of national security, aimed at regulating the use of tinted glasses in vehicles across the state.
