The Bauchi State Youth Ambassadors for Democracy and Development have supported more than 100 pupils of Bakin Primary School in Bauchi with school fees, uniforms, and learning materials as part of efforts to promote education and ease the financial burden on parents.

During the outreach, the organization distributed 40 copies of the Holy Qur’an to orphans and less privileged pupils, provided new uniforms to 40 others, and paid school fees for 20 pupils. The group also donated pens, notebooks, and exercise books to enhance learning among the beneficiaries.

Speaking to journalists in Bauchi, the chairman of the organization, Malam Ismail Sani Umar, said the initiative was aimed at complementing government efforts in promoting education and development across the state. He emphasized the importance of community participation in advancing educational opportunities for children from low-income families.

Malam Ismail also called on stakeholders across Nigeria to emulate such initiatives, noting that youth-led community interventions can play a major role in addressing social challenges and improving educational outcomes.

He commended Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration for its continued commitment to youth empowerment and educational development across the state, saying such policies have encouraged civic organizations to contribute their quota.

Responding, the Head Teacher of Bakin Primary School, Malam Auwal Al-Bushara, applauded the organization for its generosity and urged the beneficiaries to pray for the sustainable success of the group. He also encouraged other associations and individuals to support similar educational interventions to uplift society.
