The Impact Multipurpose Cooperative Society (IMCOOPS) has expressed profound appreciation to all participants, partners, facilitators, and stakeholders for their contributions to the recently held Sensitization Workshop on Cooperative Society Development, themed “Strengthening Cooperative Capacity for Sustainable Economic Growth.”

In a statement signed by Sani Musa Daitu, Director-General of IMCOOPS, the society acknowledged the “high level of participation, the quality of technical contributions, and the robust engagement demonstrated by attendees,” noting that these factors significantly enriched the deliberations and outcomes of the programme.

The workshop, held on Thursday, 18th December 2025, at Sheikh ÆŠahiru Usman Bauchi Hall, Tudun Wada, Kaduna State, convened cooperative leaders, entrepreneurs, development practitioners, policymakers, and community stakeholders. It provided a platform for discussions on cooperative governance, institutional capacity building, financial inclusion, regulatory compliance, and pathways for sustainable economic development.

According to the statement, the President of IMCOOPS, Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim, urged participants to apply the knowledge gained to strengthen internal governance structures, promote accountability, and build resilient cooperative institutions capable of driving sustainable economic growth.

IMCOOPS further acknowledged the strategic support of Tranquil Way Limited, facilitators, resource persons, and collaborating institutions, describing their expertise and dedication as crucial to the success of the event. The society reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperative institutions, promoting sustainable entrepreneurship, deepening financial inclusion, and fostering multi-sectoral partnerships to advance socio-economic development in Kaduna State and beyond.

The statement concluded by emphasizing IMCOOPS’ determination to translate the workshop’s knowledge, resolutions, and ideas into tangible actions, scalable programs, and long-term impact for cooperative members and the wider community.
