The Sarkin Maskan Katsina and District Head of Funtua, Alhaji Sambo Idris Sambo, has commended the Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Minister of Works, Alhaji Munkaila Ashafa, for his contributions to the development of Funtua town and its environs.
The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by Ashafa to the Sarkin Maska Palace in Funtua.
The traditional ruler highlighted several developmental projects executed by Ashafa, including the construction of solar-powered boreholes, mosques, sponsorship of orphans, and the provision of scholarships to students within the area.
“The people of Funtua deeply appreciate your efforts, and we pray that Allah rewards you abundantly,” the monarch said.
He further expressed gratitude for Ashafa’s commitment to promoting equitable development in his hometown while serving in government, noting that such dedication reflects a strong sense of responsibility and patriotism.
The Sarkin Maskan Katsina also urged the people of Funtua to emulate Ashafa’s example by contributing, in whatever capacity possible, to the development of their community.
