The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) carried out the 28th wave of True Promise 4 military operation, vowing that the scale and depth of retaliatory attacks against enemy targets will expand in the coming days.

According to a statement released by the IRGC on Sunday, the latest wave of the retaliatory operation involved new-generation missiles launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force, targeting sites in the Israeli-occupied territories, including in Beersheba and Tel Aviv as well as the Azraq Air Base.

In its statement, the IRGC said American and Israeli targets were struck with Iranian missiles and drones.
The statement further noted that the Azraq Air Base, described as the largest and most active base used by US fighter jets conducting offensive missions, was targeted several times.

It also said military targets in Tel Aviv and Beersheba were hit by Kheybar missiles equipped with ultra-heavy warheads.

The IRGC further warned that the volume and depth of attacks by Iran’s armed forces will increase in response to aggression by the United States and Israel.

It added that more information about the retaliatory operations would be announced to the Iranian public.
Separately, an informed source told Iranian media that the IRGC plans to significantly intensify its offensive operations starting tonight.

The source said the corps will increase the scale of its drone operations by about 20 percent and double the use of ultra-heavy and strategic missiles.

The move, according to the source, is aimed at strengthening deterrence and delivering a decisive response to any attack against Iran’s interests and citizens.

The US and Israel started a fresh round of aerial aggression on Iran on February 28, some eight months after they carried out unprovoked attacks on the country.

The attacks led to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and more than 1,200 people, including women and children, as well as military commanders.

Iran began to swiftly retaliate against the strikes by launching barrages of missiles and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on US bases in regional countries.
