The African Action Congress has conducted its governorship primary election in Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in its determination to take over the state government.
The primary election took place at the Double 4 International Conference Centre in Bauchi, where popular businessman Abdullahi Adamu Dan China emerged as the party’s unopposed governorship candidate for the 2027 election.
The State Chairman of the party, Ambassador Umar Y. Abubakar, disclosed this shortly after the declaration of the governorship candidate.
The formal announcement of the result was made by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Musa Abubakar.
In his acceptance remarks, Abdullahi Adamu Dan China urged eligible voters to come out en masse to support and vote for AAC candidates during the 2027 general elections across the country.
He pledged to continue his philanthropic activities aimed at improving the welfare of citizens through support for agricultural development, mining activities, education, and other critical sectors of human capital development.
Dan China also promised to transform Bauchi State into one of the leading states in Nigeria in terms of infrastructural development if elected governor in 2027.
He concluded by wishing participants a safe journey back home and urged them to take his message of hope and development to all parts of Bauchi State.
