The Executive Chairman of Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Mohammad Jibo, has commended the leadership style and developmental strides of Governor Bala Mohammed in the state.
Jibo disclosed this while interacting with journalists shortly after attending an international workshop on leadership development initiatives and democracy held in Lagos.
The chairman noted that Governor Bala Mohammed had performed remarkably well across various sectors of human development in the state.
According to him, the governor has transformed Bauchi State through impactful policies and programmes, adding that local government chairmen across the state have drawn inspiration from his leadership style.
“Governor Bala Mohammed has transformed the state remarkably, and we have equally adopted some of his leadership strategies across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State,” he stated.
The chairman also highlighted some of the achievements recorded under his administration in Dass Local Government Area, particularly in the areas of healthcare, agriculture, and education.
He explained that when his administration assumed office, the local government had no tractors in its hiring unit, but his administration had so far procured six tractors to improve agricultural productivity and rural development in the area.
Jibo added that his administration had also sustained the provision of agricultural inputs, including subsidised fertiliser, to support farmers and boost food production.
He further appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for promoting youth inclusion and participatory governance as part of efforts to strengthen democratic leadership in Bauchi State.
