The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has been described as a skilled political strategist committed to promoting unity and strengthening democratic values among the people of the state.
The Director-General of the Niger State Nomadic Affairs Agency, Ardo Adamu Abdullahi Babayo, made the commendation while congratulating the governor for successfully resolving internal disputes among aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state’s three senatorial districts.
Babayo noted that Governor Bago demonstrated exemplary leadership by adopting dialogue and reconciliation in resolving the disputes, rather than relying solely on the powers of his office.
He described the governor’s approach as a model of effective leadership and governance, particularly in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development in Niger State.
The Director-General also urged successful aspirants to emulate the governor’s example by fostering unity among their supporters and ensuring inclusive leadership if elected in the 2027 general elections.
He further called on members of the Fulani community to support and actively campaign for the ruling APC to ensure victory at the polls.
