Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, widely known as Mainan Zazzau, has convened a high-level emergency meeting with leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from Zone One, comprising 87 wards and eight local government areas across Kaduna State.

The strategic gathering, held at the prestigious Dove Center in Kwangila, Zaria, brought together party executives and stakeholders from across the zone to deliberate on critical party matters ahead of the party’s governorship primary election slated for Monday, May 25, 2026.

The meeting focused on strengthening internal cohesion within the party, consolidating grassroots structures, and mapping out campaign strategies aimed at ensuring a successful and united outing during the primaries.

Deliberations also centered on promoting purposeful leadership and addressing concerns surrounding alleged internal challenges affecting the ADC across Kaduna State.

Speaking during the session, Mainan Zazzau stressed that the essence of the meeting was to deepen unity, mutual understanding, and collective commitment among party stakeholders, while seeking their support toward his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the ADC in Kaduna State.

According to reports, the professor symbolically entrusted his political mandate to the 87 ward leaders in Zone One, appealing for their confidence and endorsement ahead of the decisive primary contest.

Among the prominent dignitaries present at the meeting were Aliyu Makarfi, Director of Campaign; Gambo SakadaÉ—i; and Murja Abdul Hasan, the ADC Women Leader for Zone One.

Also in attendance were respected Islamic scholars, including Sheikh Surajo Bomo.
The meeting was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere and concluded successfully.
