The All Progressives Movement (APM) on Friday held a peaceful political rally in Kafin Madaki, the headquarters of Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, as part of efforts to demonstrate the party's growing popularity and strengthen its grassroots support base.
The rally, organized by supporters of the party's candidates, attracted thousands of party members and residents who gathered to witness a procession through the major streets of the town. The event underscored the party's increasing visibility in the local political landscape.
Supporters marched in coordinated groups representing the party's various candidates, including the APM governorship candidate in Bauchi State, Dr. Yakubu Adamu, PhD; the Bauchi Central senatorial candidate, Hon. Abdurrazak Nuhu Zaki; and the party's candidate for the Ganjuwa West State Constituency seat.
The event was attended by representatives of the Chairman of Ganjuwa Local Government Council, including Hon. Mohammed Idris Magayakin Miya (Ci Garin Kasar Soro), as well as officials of the party from the state level and other stakeholders.
The procession passed through key areas of Kafin Madaki before concluding at the APM Local Government Secretariat, located near the Ganjuwa Local Government Secretariat along the Ningi–Kano Road.
Addressing supporters after the rally, the Coordinator of the APM Governorship Campaign, Alhaji Yusuf Kawu, and the Coordinator of the Bauchi Central Senatorial Campaign, Hon. Sulaiman Sadauki, said the event was organized to demonstrate the party's strength, unity, and growing acceptance in Ganjuwa Local Government Area.
They expressed confidence that the APM would continue to attract more supporters across Bauchi State, describing the turnout as an indication of the confidence many residents have in the party.
The coordinators also urged party members and supporters to remain united, committed to the party's ideals, and actively engaged in grassroots mobilization.
The rally was conducted peacefully from start to finish, with no security incidents or breaches reported.
The event concluded with renewed pledges of support for the party's candidates and calls for increased participation in future political activities aimed at strengthening the party's presence across Bauchi State.
