Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has congratulated the management and staff of Crystal FM Minna, a station under the Niger State Broadcasting Corporation (NSBC), on the occasion of its 32nd anniversary.
In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor acknowledged the contributions of Crystal FM to the growth and effectiveness of the state-owned broadcasting corporation and its service to the people of Niger State.
He noted that, as the first FM radio station in the state, Crystal FM has carved a niche for itself in informing, educating, and entertaining the public while upholding the ethics of professional broadcasting.
The Governor particularly commended the efforts of the General Manager of the Niger State Broadcasting Corporation, Alhaji Mohammed Kolo, for his selflessness and sacrifices in repositioning Crystal FM for improved service delivery despite the prevailing challenges.
Governor Bago reaffirmed his administration's commitment to revamping not only Crystal FM but all state-owned media organisations to enable them compete favourably with their counterparts both nationally and internationally.
While congratulating the management and staff of Crystal FM on the milestone, the Farmer Governor urged them to remain committed to excellence and strengthen their dedication to public service for the benefit of present and future generations.
Crystal Radio 91.3 FM was commissioned on August 5, 1994, and is celebrating 32 years of broadcasting service.
