The voice of the Tijaniyyah sect in Funtua local government area of Katsina state had trained over six hundred people in different skills acquisition to be self-reliant.
The head of Vocational Training, Malam Nuhu Kabir, explained this at the graduation ceremony organized by the Voice of Tijjaniyyah.
Malam Nuhu Kabir added that those who participated in the training, most of whom were vulnerable in society include orphans, weak persons, women, and Youth. He said each of the beneficiaries chooses the skills they are interested in.
Nuhu Kabir further added that "we have taught them ten different trades, which include massage, skin care oil, bath and laundry soap, fat oil, Humra perfume, traditional medicine, and many other skills", he said
The leaders of the Voice of Tijjaniyyah in Funtua including Khalifa Ali Saidu Alti and Liman Abdurahman were present during the training.
The Chief Guest Speaker at the event, the Katsina State governor-elect, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda represented by Abdurrahman Nasir, commended Voice of Tijjaniyyah for putting the community in the right direction.
The governor-elect has also promised to support the program to attain the desired goals of boosting the moral decadence of the people in the area, particularly the youth.
