The provost of Gate And Melinda College of Health Sciences and Technology Ningi, Alhaji Garba Hussaini gets recognition and recommendation as ”Peace Ambassador” in recognition of his immense contribution for humanity towards the advancement of a better Nigeria.
The group leader inter-religious youths affairs, Mr John Abraham had presented the award to the provost on behalf of the Network at the provost’s office in Ningi local government area of Bauchi State.
The provost described as a great leader and genuine symbol of academic excellence, peace and integrity, who applies his professionalism and vast experiences in the interest of credibility in moving the prestigious college to internationally acceptable standard and practices.
The leader of the Network, John Abraham mentioned that they appreciate the management for its gesture towards putting the college to the sustainable paths of greatness and academic excellence.
He equally pointed out that the management has displayed professionalism, ethical values, and selfless commitment in ensuring the overall development of the College through effective morality, modesty, and academic discipline across the divides.
Mr. Abraham added that the Network is highly impressed with the kind of professionalism and leadership displayed under Provost Garba Hussaini toward ensuring full consolidation of the college to an acceptable standard.
In another development, the youths leader of the inter-religious affairs network enumerated some of the critical projects achieved by provost Garba Hussaini which include ongoing construction and expansion of students’ classes, greater water supply projects, the invention of modern solar panels, ICT Facilities, renovation of staff offices, perimeter fencing of the college, accreditation, and re-accreditation of all courses and introduction of new ones and other critical notable projects.
In her remarks, the Deputy leader of the youth affairs inter-religious network, Aisha Balarabe added that they will continue to support Provost Garba Hussaini and the entire staff of the college to enable it to become a reference point across the Nigerian federation and beyond.
The provost of the college appreciates and commended the inter-religious affairs youths body for finding him worthy of this great award and recognition of his selfless service to humanity and appreciates them for the historic visit.
The provost has concluded by appreciating the Bauchi State government for giving the college all the required support when the need arises.
