The Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Kashim Shetima has called upon Nigerians to pray for peace, harmony and development of the nation.
The Vice president briefly made a call after observing two raka’a Eid prayers led by Imam Idaini of Borno, Imam Shetima Mamman Shetima Sale at Ramat Square, Maiduguri the state capital.
The Vice president joined thousands of Muslims umma to observe the two raka’a Eid Prayers marking the significant end of the month of Ramadan in which Muslims around the world fast for 30 days.
