The Jigawa State Head of Civil Service, Muhammad K. Dagaceri, and Chairman of the Technical Committee for Workers Agricultural Loan, revealed that the program initiated by Governor Umar Namadi’s administration will boost agriculture and improve food security in the state.
Muhammad K. Dagaceri stated this while declaring open a one-day sensitization and training session for monitors of the Workers Agricultural Loan, held at Sir Ahmadu Bello Hall.
He revealed that the initiative will enhance the welfare and well-being of civil servants, leading to higher performance. The Head of Service explained that the program will provide civil servants with a supplementary income source and contribute to the development of various sectors of the economy, thereby increasing the state's GDP.
The State Auditor General, Dr. Garba Muhammad Dutse, who is also a member of the Technical Committee, gave an overview of the program, led the sensitization training, and interacted directly with the participants about their roles and responsibilities during the exercise.
The participants (monitors) were drawn from civil society organizations, labor unions, and the office of the Head of the Civil Service.
