Daily Trust reports that Friday ‘dhikr’ is one of the ‘dhikr’ observed by Tijjaniyya adherents every Friday after asr prayers to maghrib prayers.

It was gathered that in Kano, the Supreme leader, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, met the 13th Emir of Kano, the late Alhaji Ado Bayero, advised and sought his approval for the Friday dhikr to pray for peace and stability of the country every Muharram – the first month in the Islamic calendar.
