Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahya, led a high-powered delegation to Bauchi State to commiserate with the government and people over the passing of the Emir of Ningi, Dr. Yunusa Danyaya.
The delegation, which included the Emir of Gombe, top government officials, ulamas, and religious leaders, was received by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
During the visit, Governor Yahya described the death of the Emir as a great loss, not only to the people of Bauchi but also to Gombe State and the entire nation.
He shared fond memories of the late Emir, highlighting his significant impact on Gombe State, describing him as an "impactful father."
In response, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his gratitude to Governor Yahya and his delegation for the "brotherhood visit" and prayed for Almighty God to reward them.
He noted that the visit was a testament to the longstanding relationship between the two states and their commitment to supporting each other in times of need.
