Adnan Mukhtar & Associates, in partnership with the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, will host the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Annual Public Lecture. 

This year's lecture, themed "The Role of Social Media in Nation-Building," honours the birthday of Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, President of the MAAUN Group of Universities.

The event is set for Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Aminu Kano Centre for Democratic Research and Training, Mambayya House.

The lecture will feature Mallam Yushau A. Shuaib, a renowned public relations expert and social media influencer, as the guest speaker. Dr. Sule Yau Sule, from the Department of Mass Communication at Bayero University, Kano, will chair the event. 

The event will also welcome distinguished guests, including Dr. Musa Abdullahi Sufi, Dr. Bala Muhammad Tukur, and Amina Ibrahim Idris.

The lecture aims to explore the profound impact of social media on nation-building, highlighting how digital platforms can be utilized to foster unity, drive development, and inspire positive change within communities.

This annual event serves as a vital platform, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and the public to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas on leveraging social media for societal progress.
