The Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), Dr. Auwal Mustapha Imam, has extended warm greetings to Christians nationwide as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued by his Personal Assistant on Media and Communication, Nuhu Basheer Masa, Dr. Imam described the period as a crucial time for sober reflection among Christians, emphasizing its significance in marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Director General called for peaceful coexistence among NILEST staff and Nigerians at large, urging everyone to use the festive season as an opportunity to pray for a better Nigeria and its leadership.
“Therefore, as you enjoy the festivities with friends and families, as you give and receive gifts and gather to celebrate, please accept my best wishes for a safe and enjoyable Christmas,” Dr. Imam stated.
He concluded by wishing all NILEST staff and Nigerians a Merry Christmas.
