Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing construction of the Hajj Terminal at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna.

During an inspection visit to the site, Governor Bago commended the contractor for the quality of work being carried out, describing the project as exemplary. He noted that the terminal, once completed, would set a standard and effectively serve pilgrims.

“The contractor is doing remarkably well, and this structure will serve as a model that will meet the needs of pilgrims effectively,” the governor stated.

Governor Bago also highlighted the potential of the airport's agro-processing zone, emphasizing its capacity to boost cargo business activities in the region. He pointed out that this initiative would contribute significantly to economic growth within and beyond the state.

Additionally, the governor directed that the airport's two gatehouses be remodeled into modern and aesthetically appealing structures to enhance the facility's overall appearance and functionality.

As part of his visit, Governor Bago conducted an on-the-spot assessment of various sections of the airport to evaluate the progress and ensure the project aligns with his administration’s vision for infrastructure development in Niger State.

Governor Bago’s commitment to the project underscores his administration's focus on improving critical infrastructure to drive socio-economic development in the state.
