Parents have been advised to intensify their efforts and remain committed to supporting the younger generation in acquiring both Islamic and Western education.
The founder of the non-governmental organization, Inspire Youth for the Nation, Engr. Ridwan Mika'il Fagaci, gave the advice while addressing participants during a quiz competition for secondary school students drawn from various schools across Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Engr. Fagaci explained that the foundation is actively involved in promoting education, vocational skills acquisition, small-scale businesses, and public enlightenment programmes aimed at empowering young people.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Soba Local Government Students' Union Government, Al-Ameen Idris Dinya, said the competition was organized to promote academic excellence and instill moral values among secondary school students across the local government area.
He added that the union remains committed to supporting initiatives that sensitize and motivate students towards achieving their educational goals and aspirations.
The Soba Local Government Students' Union Government, in collaboration with Inspire Youth for the Nation, organized the quiz competition for secondary school students from different schools across the local government area.
The event was attended by the Emir of Soba, the Magajin Yakin Soba, politicians, business leaders, and other dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Students' Union Government, North-West Zone.
At the end of the competition, prizes were presented to the students who emerged first, second and third positions. Other participants also received consolation awards in recognition of their efforts and participation.
