The Sisters' Forum of the Islamic Movement, under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), organized a grand procession in Zaria to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sayyida Fatimatuz Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
The annual event took place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, and attracted a large gathering of Muslim brothers, sisters, children, and elders from Zaria and its surrounding areas.
The procession commenced at Gwargwaje and followed a route through Kuyanbana Gate, Karauka, Zaria Market, Kanfage, and Babban Dodo, before concluding at the premises of Fudiyyah School in Zaria.
Participants joyfully sang celebratory songs while students from Fudiyyah schools and members of various firka paraded in honor of the occasion.
At the closing ceremony, Shamsuddeen Fudiyyah led the singing of festival songs, followed by parades.
The event concluded with a speech by Malama Hafsat Ridwan, who expressed gratitude to God and reminded participants of the virtues of Sayyida Fatimatuz Zahra. She highlighted the significance of the procession as a celebration of her legacy as the successor of the Prophet (SAWW) and the leader of women worldwide.
The event ended with prayers, and participants dispersed peacefully, marking yet another successful and harmonious celebration of Sayyida Fatimatuz Zahra’s birth anniversary.
