The Niger State Government has assured citizens of more dividends of democracy in 2025.
This assurance was given by members of the State Executive Council during a crossover night organized by the government. The event was held at the open space of the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre in Minna.
Commissioner for Information, Binta Mamman; Commissioner for Environment, Yakubu Kolo; and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hamidu Jantabo, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving the lives of Nigerlites.
They appealed for calm and understanding from citizens, emphasizing that Governor Umar Bago’s administration is focused on implementing inclusive, people-oriented projects that benefit everyone.
The night was one to remember for Nigerlites, as music superstars Jude Abaga (M.I), Ice Prince, and Jesse Jagz headlined the event with electrifying performances to ring in the New Year. It marked the trio’s first performance in Niger State, where they delighted the audience with their hit songs, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration.
Local talents such as Kingz, Sibombo Group, DJ Zubis, ASP Adailo, and Mai Dawayya from Kano State also entertained the crowd with energetic performances.
The event featured a variety of activities, including comedy and dance competitions, adding to the festive spirit.
