The Niger State Liquor Board, under the administration of Governor Umar Bago, has ramped up efforts to address critical social issues, including child abuse and prostitution, through a series of sensitization campaigns across the state. The initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage community participation in combating these pressing challenges.
Speaking to journalists in Minna, the Board’s Director General, Barrister Halidu Sayuti Yahaya, reaffirmed the Board's unwavering commitment to safeguarding children’s rights and promoting societal values. He lauded Governor Bago’s visionary leadership and the transformative impact of his administration across various sectors of the state.
The Secretary of the Board, Mallam Ibrahim Mohammed, highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in tackling social vices. He urged citizens from all walks of life to actively support and participate in the Board’s initiatives, stressing that sustainable change can only be achieved through united community efforts.
Barrister Yahaya also praised Governor Bago’s dedication to development and welfare initiatives, calling on residents to rally behind the administration’s vision for progress and prosperity.
