The Executive Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government and Chairman of the Kaduna State Association of Local Government Chairmen, Hon. Abubakar Jamilu Albani Samaru, has fulfilled Governor Uba Sani’s directive by distributing Ramadan palliatives to All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The distribution event took place at the Hajj Camp Hall within the Sabon Gari Local Government Secretariat, where party leaders and elders gathered to witness the exercise. Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of unity and support for the APC-led administration.
In his address, Hon. Albani commended Governor Uba Sani for his developmental strides across various sectors, highlighting his efforts in attracting influential figures back to the APC, thereby strengthening the party’s position in the state. He urged residents of Sabon Gari to continue supporting the governor to ensure the progress of Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
As part of the initiative, Hon. Albani presented ₦10 million and bags of rice to APC members in the local government for distribution, in line with the governor’s directive. He called on ward leaders to ensure a fair and transparent distribution process, emphasizing that all beneficiaries should receive their rightful share.
Dignitaries at the event included the Vice Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government, Hon. Kamilu Abdul-Kareem, as well as prominent figures such as Alhaji Shamsuddin (Garkuwar Matasan) and Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq (Kogunan Safana).
The event concluded peacefully, with attendees commending the initiative as a significant step toward community support and party solidarity.
