Muslims across the world, particularly those in Niger State and Nigeria, have been urged to continue praying for peace, unity, and progress in the state and the country at large.
Magayakin Yamma, Tallafin Bosso Karami, Amb. Dr. Nura Hadhim, made this call in a Sallah message delivered in Minna, the Niger State capital, on Saturday.
He emphasized the need for the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria to come together in prayer, using the Eid-el-Fitr celebration as a time for sober reflection and supplication to lift the nation out of its current challenges.
Hadhim encouraged Muslims to use the occasion to rededicate themselves to Allah and to embody the values prescribed by Islam in their actions, activities, and interactions.
“We should seek Allah’s forgiveness for our sins and pray for the restoration of peace and prosperity in our country. We must also call on Almighty Allah to heal our land and help us overcome those who seek to destabilize our nation,” he stated.
He further urged stakeholders in Niger State and Nigeria not to lose hope, assuring that through prayers and sacrifices, the nation would experience progress and prosperity.
Magayakin Yamma also commended the Niger State government for prioritizing agriculture as a key driver of economic growth. He extended his felicitations to the government, traditional rulers, and the people of the state on this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
