Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has appointed the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Ribadu, as the Amirul Hajj and head of the state government’s delegation for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The appointment was announced in a press statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, who noted that the decision was based on Emir Ribadu’s dedication, experience, and commitment to religious affairs in the state.
Other members of the delegation include:
1. Alhaji Muhammad Buba Jidjiwa
2. Barr. A. T. Shehu
3. Alhaji Ibrahim Abba
4. Alhaji Abubakar Murtala
5. Alhaji Mohammed Dabo – Secretary
Governor Fintiri charged the delegation with ensuring a smooth and successful 2025 Hajj operation. He also urged them to work in close collaboration with relevant agencies to achieve a hitch-free pilgrimage.
