The Institute of Continuing Education and e-Learning (ICEeL) at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, has dissociated itself from reports suggesting an increment in school fees.

In response to a write-up attributed to one Comrade Abubakar Danasabe Kuta—claiming that ICEeL management had increased school fees without prior notice—the Institute has dismissed the claim as false and misleading.

This was made known in a statement issued in Minna by the Director of ICEeL, Associate Professor Mohammed Ibrahim Baji, who described the information as baseless and not originating from the management of the Institute.

Professor Baji affirmed that there has been no increase in school fees, stating that the rumors were the product of misinformation and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.

“The position of the Institute is clear: every student is expected to pay the approved school fees. If there is ever a need for a concession or an adjustment in fees, such decisions will be formally communicated through official channels,” he said.

The Director reiterated that there is no increment in school fees at ICEeL and urged the public to disregard any contrary reports being circulated from unofficial sources.
