Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has commended the appointment of Hajiya Maryam Idris Bagiwa as the Commercial Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), describing it as a well-deserved recognition of her professional excellence.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda described Hajiya Maryam’s elevation as a testament to her outstanding competence, integrity, and unwavering dedication to service.

“Her elevation not only brings honour to Katsina State but also reinforces our long-standing tradition of producing exceptional leaders who contribute significantly to national development,” the Governor stated.

He expressed confidence that Hajiya Bagiwa would bring her vast experience and innovative insight to bear in her new strategic role at Nigeria’s foremost energy company.

Governor Radda also applauded the leadership of NNPCL under Mr. Bayo Ojulari for upholding meritocracy and recognizing the excellence of a distinguished daughter of Katsina State.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Katsina State, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hajiya Maryam Idris Bagiwa. We wish her great success as she undertakes this important national assignment,” the statement added.
