The Fulbe Youth Association of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Fulbe Youth Sai Bago Again Organisation, has congratulated Alhaji Mohammed Babangida on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Babangida, who also serves as the Managing Director of El-Amin International Schools and Chairman of both the Minna and Kaduna Polo Clubs, was appointed to lead the restructured Bank of Agriculture, which is expected to play a vital role in revitalizing Nigeria's agricultural sector.
In a joint statement signed by the Chairman of the association, Amb. Dr. Mujahid Adam, and the Secretary, Comrade Sulaiman Ruga, and made available to journalists in Minna, the groups described the appointment of Mohammed Babangida, son of former military Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, as a source of pride and a significant development for the agricultural sector.
They commended President Tinubu for appointing a “dedicated and hardworking young leader,” and expressed optimism that Babangida’s leadership would help address key agricultural and pastoral challenges in the country.
The groups further expressed confidence that Babangida’s stewardship would significantly contribute to the revitalization of the agricultural and livestock sectors in Niger State and across the nation, ultimately strengthening the country’s economy.
“All members of the Fulbe Youth Association of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Fulbe Youth Sai Bago Again Organisation, are proud of this well-deserved appointment and wish Alhaji Mohammed Babangida success and impactful service in his new role,” the statement added.
