The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Bariki Ward executives in Bida Local Government Area have officially suspended the party’s national acting treasurer, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmed, over allegations of gross misconduct and deliberate attempts to undermine the authority of both ward and local government executives.
The suspension was announced in a letter signed by the Bariki Ward Chairman, Hon. Abubakar N. Abdullahi, and endorsed by 30 ward executives. The letter cited repeated violations of the party’s constitution, disregard for internal regulations, and disobedience to leadership directives as reasons for the disciplinary action.
“In view of the above and in accordance with the powers of the ward executives, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmed is hereby placed on indefinite suspension from the ADC,” the letter stated.
The ADC leadership in Bariki Ward reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the unity, integrity, and progress of the party, describing the suspension as necessary to safeguard the party’s standards and internal governance in Niger State.
