Marine Football Academy has announced the conduct of an intensive training session for its young players as part of its grassroots football development programme.

In a press release signed by Ammar Muhammad Rajab, Director of Media and Publicity, the academy stated that the session was held on Monday, 15th September, 2025, at its training ground located at Jushi Model Primary School Field.

"The rigorous session, held under the watchful eyes of the Academy’s coaching staff, featured technical drills, tactical exercises, and fitness conditioning, aimed at sharpening the skills and boosting the discipline of the academy's budding talents," the statement read.

Marine Football Academy, which was founded in 2023 by football enthusiast and youth development advocate, Anthony Idoko, has since its inception focused on identifying and grooming young talent in the region.

The statement quoted one of the academy’s lead coaches as saying:

“This training is part of our consistent efforts to build not just players, but disciplined, intelligent athletes who understand the game and can compete at any level. Every session is designed to challenge the players physically and mentally, and we are proud of the progress they are making.”

The academy reaffirmed its mission to provide a platform for young players to receive mentorship, structured training, and exposure necessary to thrive both on and off the pitch.

“Marine Football Academy continues to open its doors to young talents, offering them the platform, mentorship, and exposure they need to thrive both on and off the pitch,” the statement added.

Founded just two years ago, Marine Football Academy has quickly gained recognition for its commitment to excellence in player development and its vision for youth empowerment through sport.
