The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) has released the results of the June/July 2025 Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE).

The official announcement was made on Monday, 22nd September 2025, by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Professor Yahuza Sulaiman Imam.

According to the Registrar, a total of 40,259 candidates from Integrated Arabic and Islamic Secondary Schools across Nigeria registered for the examination. The gender breakdown revealed that 24,095 of the candidates were female, representing 59.9%, while 16,164 were male, accounting for 40.1%.

Professor Imam further disclosed that 71% of the candidates obtained five credits and above, including in core subjects such as English Language and Mathematics — a significant performance indicator for the Board.

While presenting the results, he expressed appreciation to the Federal Ministry of Education under the leadership of the Hon. Minister, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, along with various State Ministries of Education and key stakeholders, for their unwavering support before and during the examination period.

He also commended the commitment and hard work of NBAIS staff across the country, which he said contributed immensely to the smooth conduct and success of the 2025 June/July SAISSCE.

In a related development, the Registrar announced that registration for the 2025 November/December SAISSCE (External) commenced on 22nd September 2025.
