The KAUTAL PULAKU FULBE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA has continued to grow in national relevance, particularly under the leadership of one of its youngest and most dynamic figures—Dr. Muhammad Husseini Buzaye—who has distinguished himself as a committed advocate for the less privileged and disadvantaged pastoralist communities across Nigeria.
Speaking on his leadership style and impact, the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Idris Bayero Haruna, described Dr. Buzaye as “young but highly experienced, dedicated, committed, honest, humble, and progressive.” Dr. Buzaye is a former Bauchi State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and currently serves as Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore North-East Chairmen Forum.
He is supported by a strong team of seasoned Fulbe leaders, many of whom bring rich administrative and grassroots experience from various Fulani associations and organisations.
Among them is Suleiman Rugga Ibrahim, a respected figure in Fulani leadership circles. He has previously served as State Secretary of both Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), as well as Director of Administration and Veterinary Services in MACBAN. He currently holds the position of Assistant National Secretary General of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and serves as the National Secretary General of the Bandiraku Fulbe Youths Association of Nigeria—arguably the largest Fulbe youth organization in the country.
Engineer Ibrahim Adamu, also known as Maigunduma, adds further depth to the team. A former North-East Zonal Chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and a traditional titleholder, he brings both leadership experience and cultural authority to the association.
In the area of public information and outreach, the association is well represented by capable communicators such as Bala Bayero Pullo, Idris Bayero Haruna, and Suleiman Dungal—names that command recognition and respect across Fulbe communities and beyond.
According to the leadership, the association is preparing to unveil its mission and vision in an upcoming release, which will further clarify its goals, strategies, and commitment to the advancement and protection of Fulbe pastoralist interests across Nigeria.
