The President of the Astrological Scholars of Africa, Sheikh Muhajjadina Sani Kano, has dismissed as impossible the reported threat by the United States to launch a military strike on Nigeria. He said the country is divinely protected through the prayers of spiritual scholars and devoted servants of God, urging Nigerians to remain calm and not panic over the alleged threat.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, Sheikh Muhajjadina described U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks on Nigeria as “a display of deep ignorance” about the realities on the ground. According to him, “The regions most affected by these crises are largely Muslim-populated areas, and everyone knows that Muslims have been the main victims of the violent conflicts across Nigeria.”

The cleric warned the U.S. against any attempt to attack Nigeria, stressing that while America boasts of its military strength, it should understand that Nigeria possesses powerful spiritual scholars and astrologers whose prayers and divine insight will prevent such an evil plan from succeeding. “We have carried out special investigations and found that this plan will never materialise. I therefore urge Nigerians to stay calm because nothing will happen,” he said.

Sheikh Muhajjadina further appealed to Nigerian leaders to engage more with scholars, spiritual figures, and devoted servants of God so that the nation can continue to benefit from their divine wisdom. He also called on authorities to lead nationwide prayers for God’s protection against both internal and external threats. “Nigeria has many blessings that attract envy from other nations. God has blessed us with abundant resources and relative peace — and that is something some countries do not want to see,” he stated.

The religious leader urged government officials to intensify efforts to end insecurity and unrest across the country, noting that lasting peace can only be achieved through cooperation among all stakeholders. “We must take decisive action to eliminate terrorism and bloodshed by uniting scholars, astrologers, and all patriotic citizens,” he said, adding that all forms of violence must stop without religious or ethnic bias.

Sheikh Muhajjadina concluded with an assurance that, by God’s will, Nigeria will overcome its current security challenges and return to peace and stability. He reiterated that their findings show America’s alleged military plan against Nigeria will not succeed, saying, “They will never be able to carry out the attack they are claiming to plan — by the grace of God.”
