The Fulani Youth Say Bago Again Movement has congratulated all the newly elected chairmen and councillors in the recently concluded local government council elections in Niger State.
In a statement signed by the State Director of Programmes, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jita, the group commended the peaceful conduct of the elections and described the outcome as a reflection of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s growing achievements under Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s leadership.
Alhaji Jita urged the newly elected representatives to remember that their primary duty is to serve the interests of their people. He charged them to be good ambassadors of the APC by upholding the party’s values of service, accountability, and development.
He further called on the chairmen and councillors to seize the opportunity to bring meaningful change to their communities, while urging other contestants to accept the election results in good faith.
The organisation also commended the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) and the security agencies for ensuring the smooth, free, and credible conduct of the polls.
Alhaji Shehu Jita prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and strength for the newly elected officials across the twenty-five local government areas as they discharge their duties.
