The Vice President's supporters' group for Senator Kashim Shettima has congratulated newly elected leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and national levels, urging them to work diligently to secure victory for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket in the 2027 general elections and other elective positions across all levels.

The Chairman of the APC Youth Parliament, Mr. Kabiru Garba Kobi, while speaking with journalists in Bauchi on Wednesday, noted that party stakeholders made the right decision by electing capable individuals to lead the APC from wards up to national.

He expressed optimism that the new leadership would uphold the party's ideals and take necessary steps to ensure its success in the 2027 elections.

Kobi also commended the peaceful conduct of the national convention of the party, describing it as a positive signal for the party's future electoral prospects.

According to him, a return of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima would bring renewed momentum to governance and create more opportunities to address the country's pressing challenges.

Kobi further stated that both leaders possess a clear vision for national development, with strong commitments to empowering youths and women. He, however, cautioned the newly elected party leaders against complacency, urging them to remain focused on strengthening the party and delivering good governance.

The group also congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing his life as one marked by determination, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to Nigeria's progress and economic growth.

It described Vice President Shettima as a pivotal figure in supporting the administration, praising his dedication to the development of the North-East and the country at large.

Kobi assured that Shettima would play a key role in mobilising support for the President in the northern region, reflecting the aspirations of the people.

He further portrayed the Vice President as a visionary and patriotic leader whose humility and resilience continue to inspire young Nigerians.
