The Chairman of the Eleven Thousand for Wamban Faskari group, Engr. Murtala Ibrahim Sheme, has explained that the group was established because the aspirations of the people align with the vision, humanitarian services and community development efforts of Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, the Wamban Faskari and First Sadaukin Kasar Hausa.
Engr. Sheme said the prevailing political situation in Katsina State motivated them to form the group in order to unite supporters of the developmental and humanitarian initiatives championed by Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari.
According to him, since 2014, while working within the APC, Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari has remained committed to serving and supporting people, not only in Faskari and Kankara local government areas, but across Katsina State.
He noted that whenever the name Wamban Faskari is mentioned, many people readily recognize him because of his humanitarian contributions and support for the less privileged. He stressed that people approach him not merely because of politics, but because of his charitable activities and commitment to public service.
Engr. Sheme said this was the primary reason behind the establishment of the Eleven Thousand for Wamban Faskari group, which seeks to support and appreciate the contributions Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari has made to society.
He further stated that many people are now willing to support the APC because of the numerous humanitarian interventions carried out by Wamban Faskari.
Speaking on Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari’s aspiration to represent the Kankara, Faskari and Sabuwa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Sheme expressed confidence that, if elected, he would have a greater opportunity to serve the people and effectively represent their interests.
Commenting on critics and opponents of Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, Engr. Sheme said Wamban Faskari rarely responds to criticism because he believes that his good deeds are performed for the sake of Allah, who is the ultimate judge of all matters.
He added that when people become uncomfortable with the good one is doing, it should be viewed as a sign of progress and divine acceptance.
On the issue of security, Engr. Sheme said many people in Katsina State can attest that whenever Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari speaks on security matters, he consistently prays for Allah to expose anyone involved in criminal activities or acts of insecurity, regardless of their status or affiliation.
He concluded by stating that members of the group are fully convinced that Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari has no direct or indirect connection with the insecurity challenges facing the region.
