Malam Garba Hussaini, Provost Bill and Melinda Gate College of Health Sciences and Technology Ningi, along with former Bauchi state governor Malam Isah Yuguda and other high profile individuals were fully conferred with awards of excellence for their various contributions to education, widows, orphans, and less privileged people across communities and Bauchi state at large.
The event took place at Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Conference Hall in Bauchi's ancient city.
Many eminent personalities grace the occasion from the nook and cranny of this country and beyond.
The provost Garba Hussaini in his remarks, appreciates the Organizers of this great event for their foresight in selecting the great individuals in our society and in identifying their respective contributions to sustainable development initiatives, humanity, and prosperity across the state.
This great national award of excellence was conferred to the provost by the "Masoyan Ala Foundation” in recognition of his immense contribution to the widows, orphans, and less privileged people across his community and Bauchi state in particular.
Provost Garba Hussaini has been a recipient of various national and international awards of excellence from prestigious awards castles across the divides, so far he has received over thirty-five awards for his outstanding contributions to the College of Health Sciences & Technology with an absolute view to promoting professionalism, education and discipline across the college of Health Sciences and Technology Ningi.
Meanwhile, the provost unveiled some of his lofty plans for moving college to the greater heights this year “2024” some of which are the Accreditation of newly introduced courses at the college which got NBTE approval recently, preparation of National exams in three months later and inductions of medical laboratory technicians students, among others.
The provost equally commended the foresight and critical efforts of Governor Bala Mohammad of Bauchi state and his great concerns in uplifting the standards of the college in all positive perspectives; the governor has already approved the contract in building more efficient classes to enhance effective learning delivery in the college, said the provost Garba Hussaini.
The provost added that Governor Bala Mohammad has also approved to build an excellent entrepreneurship center in the college.
The provost has concluded by appreciating Governor Bala Mohammad; for giving him these greater opportunities to serve as “substantive provost of the college” and for the confidence governor has reposed in him.
The provost, equally maintains that Governor Bala Mohammad has been very focused and foresight leader by all standards in moving the state to global perspectives of peace, sustainable economic growth, development initiatives, and prosperity.
